The most efficient way to obtain vitamin D would be by sunbathing. But when it is not the right season, you do not live in an area with solar radiation or you do not have the time to sunbathe, you have to resort to supplementation.

The first supplementation alternative is supplements that contain high doses of cholecalciferol (50,000IU), but they are "vitamin boost" doses and a doctor's order is needed.

The second most efficient way to obtain vitamin D is " Liposomal Vitamin D3 " which has a bioavailability 4 times higher than normal cholecalciferol. This means that an 800IU capsule of liposomal vitamin D3 would be equivalent to 3200IU.

VIT/D3 VITAL 800UI is the first " Liposomal Vitamin D3 " in Chile because the cholecalciferol molecule is " encapsulated " in a phospholipid (It is a single ingredient).

Other alternatives, which are passed off as liposomal, are actually "blends" of excipients (sunflower or soy lecithin) with cholecalciferol, among other ingredients. Mixing lecithin with vitamin D, or other ingredients, does not make it liposomal.

Dose:

Adult 1 or 2 capsules in the morning or with the first meal. It does not break the fast.
